First released in April 2004 after a 5 years hiatus, "a wALK tHROUGH tHE nIGHT" marks the return to the electronic DNA of Waiting For Words.
ZeN is helped by a young and talented machine wizzard, Stonecold, that introduces him to computer recording.
Soe V also appears for the first time in Waiting For Words' universe co-signing lyrics for "Travelling Man" & "Above The Sky", signing those of "Waiting For You", providing backing vocals on "Above The Sky", "Heal", and duetting with ZeN on "Waiting For You".

This album opens a new era for the band, with support from indie medias, a all new audience and some intense touring.

In May 2005, Waiting For Words is the first french indie synth band to sign a worldwide digital distribution deal with Believe Digital.
A new version of the album is released, remastered by Foretaste's Creature XY, with the inclusion of the band's cult track, "Cause I Do Believe", re-recorded with Creature XY, to replace the Depeche Mode's cover of "The Sun & The Rainfall".

4 singles will be released out of the album : Above The Sky, Here Comes The Shame and 2 remixed version of "Travelling Man" (7" Edit by Stonecold) and "Cause I Do Believe" (Creature XY Remix).
The "Live Through The Night Tour" will visit France, UK and Belgium from April 2004 to November 2005 with 15 dates
